Bitter Sweet Nicaragua

Every time I leave, I say its going to be a while before I return to Nica, yet I have been 3 times in four years.  Maybe its the fact that if you want, you can live on a budget of about $5 to $10 a day depending on how hungry you are and how many meals you want to eat, maybe its the super consistent surf or the friendly locals, either way its always a good time.  This post is a bit late but my latest trip was about a month ago on my spring break.   My buddies who accompanied me were my brother Iain and my goliath neanderthal friend Tudor.  We stayed at Surf Sanctuary which was an awesome spot to stay but required a lot of walking as we didn't have a car/dirt bike/4 wheeler.  We caught tons of awesome surf and I was able to meet up with my buddies from high school Aaron and Terra(Aaron who has been in Nica since January and is going to be there til late May is yet to lose his mind so I give him props for that).  Also met a rad dude who goes by the name of Bradford who hails from Charleston, SC.  Bradford was quite the character who enlightened me about the subject of folk music.
